Its almost time for Fuzzy the kitty to go back to his owners. Yep, Winter’s about over (even in Montana!). Okay, so its snowing and 22 degrees…still, Winter’s almost over.
But I digress…Cowboy the Cat (AKA Fuzzy) will soon be leaving us. As you may remember, I wrote that we kitty-sit for the Winter. His owners like to “Winter” in New Mexico, and they’ve called and said they’ll be back soon. *sigh* I’m bummed! Ever had a cat? One gets very attached to them. It must be something about their nonchalant, no-give-a-sh** attitude which attracts me. Aloof, yet always close by. Seemingly finicky, yet he tears open (only occasionally) the bag of dog food while I sleep. Proud and regal, yet not above sprawling on the floor with legs in the air.
*sigh*

Recently, Montana Senator John Tester apparently asked Bernanke and Paulson:
“I’m a dirt farmer,” said Senator Jon Tester, the Montana Democrat who still lives on his family homestead. “Why do we have one week to determine that $700 billion has to be appropriated or this country’s financial system goes down the pipes?”
(ya’ got that right, Jon!)

Hubby is a photographer, and boy, do we have some great movies of all kinds of animals, not to mention the incredible scenery in south central Montana. We’re in what they call “up-country”….the foothills of the Beartooth Mountains, so we get lots of opportunities to photograph and film Mother Nature’s best “art.”
Check out clips from our excursions on my YouTube channel, MariaInMontana. I asked hubby to look through his mountains of film and get me more cool clips, but right now, he’s busy working on his new movie which features our area of Montana in Winter. He calls it Stillwater County’s Winter Splendor. Check out a clip.
